GDPR & Privacy Policy
This privacy policy decribes how Eastbourne Soft Tissue Therapy (ESTT) uses & protects information collected about you over the course of your treatment.
ESTT commits to protecting your privacy: All discussions held over the course of the treatment, and your attendance, are kept strictly confidential.
ESTT collects your name, address, telephone number, email address and health & lifestyle information relevant to treatment.

Personal data such as name, telephone number and email address is only used to contact you to arrange appointments, communicate appointment reminders and send documentation relevant to current treatment. It may also be used (with your agreement) in referrals to other healthcare professionals should other treatment be required.

Apart from within agreed referrals to other health professionals, your data is never shared with 3rd parties.

ESTT may send a seasonal informational email, not more than 4 times a year, to the email address you provide. Please say if you wish to be excluded from this.

ESTT may maintain computerised or paper records, or both. Your files are kept secure, either in a locked cabinet, or password protected folders on a computer that no-one else has access to. Industry standards require ESTT to keep records for 7 years from the date of your last appointment after which they will be securely destroyed.

You have the right to see what personal data ESTT holds about you. Please send a written request, either by hand or by email to info@eastbournesofttissuetherapy.co.uk and the information will be sent to you within 14 days of receipt.

You also have the right to withdraw your consent at anytime and arrange for your personal data to be erased. Again, please send a written request, which will be actioned within 14 days of receipt.
Terms
Your information, your records, your attendance, and any discussions that occur within or outside appointment times, all remain completely confidential.*

* Please note that Eastbourne Soft Tissue Therapy is bound by a professional obligation to safeguard children and vulnerable adults and promote their welfare. Exceptions to confidentiality may therefore be made where a child or vulnerable adult is suspected as being at risk due to abuse or neglect.

Complaints are taken very seriously: should you have a complaint, please send it in writing, to info@eastbournesofttissuetherapy.co.uk whereupon it will be addressed within 3 working days.

Should you wish to cancel your appointment, please do so within 48 hours of your appointment time otherwise the full fee will be charged. Likewise, if you wish to rearrange, please do so within 48 hours of your appointment. Thank you.
